Preformed clamps are double wrapped and formed to a given diameter. Used primarily where one end of the hose or article is free to allow the clamps to be slid over the hose end before the fitting is inserted. All clamps may be pulled down to a smaller diameter but cannot be adjusted to a larger diameter. A punch-type tool is used to apply the clamp.
