Push-On brass fittings are intended for use with Push-On style (Goodyear Insta-Grip) hose only. No hose clamps or ferrules are needed. These fittings will properly grip Push-On/Lok-On hose only when pushed all the way in, with the cut end of the hose completely concealed by the yellow plastic cap. Ideally used in fields where a quick fix is needed.
